Breathe Yoga Levels
Beginners Yoga class
Suitable for complete beginners or students will less than 2 months of yoga experience.
As a beginner yoga student you will slowly and safely build the foundations of Hatha Yoga, including principle postures and breathing techniques. Beginners classes will include more in-depth explanation and opportunity for more personal attention and discussion.
The time spent in Beginners classes before attending Level 1 will vary for each student and will be discussed with your instructor. However as a general guide, 2 months consistent practise (8-10 classes) is recommended.

Level 1 Yoga class
Suitable for students with less than 9 months of consistent (twice per week) yoga practice, and anyone looking to enjoy a more gentle Yoga practice.
As a Level 1 Yoga student, you'll develop a complete foundational practice, with emphasis on working with your breath and technique. You'll begin to relax your body, draw your awareness inside, and cultivate a comfortable breath with a gentle practice that will help you build the foundations for correct alignment and focus, right from the start.
You'll be appropriately guided as you explore a series of strengthening, relaxing, rejuvenating asanas (postures) designed to increase your physical and mental strength, flexibility and balance; eventually developing your knowledge and ability towards attending Level 2 classes. Explore a sense of connection between your mind, body and breath and leave feeling calm, supple and energised.

Level 2 Yoga class
Suitable for intermediate students who have sustained a regular (twice per week) practice over at least 9 months.
In Level 2 Yoga class at Breathe, you'll reinforce your understanding of fundamental alignment principles, and continue to develop greater flexibility, strength, balance and breath connection, building from the foundations you developed in Level 1.
Level 2 Yoga class will also provide you with an insight to some of the subtler practices of Yoga including pranayama (yogic breath work) and meditation. You'll be encouraged to establish a regular, balanced practice suitable for your individual body and needs, leading you towards a deeper practice and more challenging asanas.
